Data Protection

genua GmbH takes the protection of your personal data very seriously. The following declaration will provide an overview of the sort of data we collect and its purpose.

Declaration of Consent

With the submission of your job application you are allowing genua GmbH (hereafter "genua"), located in Domagkstrasse 7 in 85551 Kirchheim near Munich, Germany, as part of their application procedure, to store and process the personal data and application documents you have submitted for a maximum of 6 months. This acceptance of a longer storage duration also extends explicitly to health-related information as laid out in Art. 4, para. 15 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Submission of information about a significant disability or other health-related information is seen as giving permission for genua to process such information as part of the application procedure as laid out in Art. 4, para. 15 of the GDPR.

Right of Cancelation

You can cancel this declaration of consent at any time and without giving any reason. Please send your cancelation by e-mail to jobs@remove-this.genua.de. This will put your cancelation into effect. After receiving your cancelation, genua will not process your personal data for longer than legally required. Your personal data will be deleted as required by the relevant data protection regulations once the legally required storage period has ended. Your personal data will be deleted without delay if your cancelation is received after the legally required storage period has expired. If you cancel your consent for the processing of any health-related data this will be deleted without delay as laid out in Art. 4, para. 15 of the GDPR.

Right of Objection

genua is required by Section 81 para. 1 clause 4 of Book IX of the German Social Code (Sozialgezetzbuch, SGB) to inform the representative(s) for disabled employees of every application received from a person with a disability. However, you have the right to object to this under Section 81 para. 8 clause 4 and reject the involvement of the disabled employees’ representative(s). Please let genua know by sending an e-mail to jobs@remove-this.genua.de if you do not want the disabled employees’ representative(s) to be involved.

Data Protection Rights

genua GmbH, located in Domagkstrasse 7 in 85551 Kirchheim near Munich, Germany is the controller as laid out in Art. 4 para. 7 of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Applicants may apply by e-mail for vacancies advertized by genua. As part of this application process, genua processes the personal data and application documents you have submitted. This processing is carried out according to Section 26, para. 1 of the German Social Code. If you submit information about a significant disability or other health-related information as laid out in Art. 4, para. 15 of the GDPR, processing will take place on the basis of Art. 6, para. 1 (a) of the GDPR. In exceptional circumstances, internal company procedures may lead to such information being stored for longer than the legally required storage period. Your personal data and application documents are stored for a maximum of 6 months after completion of the application procedure. This extended storage of your personal data and other application documents also takes place according to Art. 6, para. 1 (a) of the GDPR. Information about a significant disability or other health-related information as laid out in Art. 4, para. 15 of the GDPR is submitted on a voluntary basis so that an application made without this information will not lead to the applicant being given an advantage or disadvantage.
