GeNUScreen Keeps an Eye on Things
GeNUScreen handles its tasks intelligently. It comprises a stateful packet filter that records connection characteristics and history in order to make the best decision for your IT security. An example: If your local computer A requests data from remote computer B located in an external network, GeNUScreen will transmit the answer returned from B to A. On the other hand, an unrequested connection from remote machine B to local machine A will be denied. The firewall audits the context of a given connection, thus enabling user-friendly communication on a high level of security.
Best Bridging Firewall
GeNUScreen excels as a bridging firewall. This solution acts as a stealth system, and is easily integrated in the existing infrastructure, e.g. to protect your Internet access or sensitive key systems, such as SAP servers. GeNUScreen enables secure data transfer via public networks by setting up Virtual Private Networks (VPN). In the process, your data is transmitted over the Internet through encrypted connections, also known as VPN tunnels. This also is a method to exchange sensitive data between distributed company networks, as strong encryption methods guarantee confidentiality. GeNUScreen makes full use of the IPsec protocol and is capable of setting up large VPNs based on a limited number of data tunnels. Your advantage: high performance with minimal configuration, maintenance, and hardware capacity requirements.
GeNUScreen Speaks VoIP
Make a phone call over VoIP? Sure! GeNUScreen can handle voice data and secure the well-known SIP protocol. As Voice over IP (VoIP) depends on reliable performance, you will benefit from our firewall's sophisticated bandwidth management: important protocols can optionally be preferred during data transfers. Thus, you can reliably reserve any needed bandwidth for VoIP.

BSI Certified: Highest Seal of Approval
The high quality of the GeNUScreen firewall is proved through certification by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI). We have decided to certify our product at the challenging Common Criteria (CC) level EAL 4+. This level requires full documentation, source code disclosure, and a complete range of tests. Thus, the customer is guaranteed to have bought a security solution of the highest standard.
Team Work in Clusters
GeNUScreen can be deployed in high availability clusters. The clustered firewalls utilize load sharing, and will take over each other's active connections in the case of individual system failure. No matter how many firewalls you are running, system administration is comfortably performed via a user-friendly central management server. Available hardware ranges from a low-maintenance appliance without hard drive or fans to various rack solutions, covering any customer requirement.
