It is imperative to guard your network against the dangers of the Internet. In addition, sensitive systems in large networks often need additional protection, a further demand is the encrypted data transfer between distributed locations. The genuscreen security package has been developed with exactly this in mind: A high-performance firewall filters data traffic at interfaces with high accuracy, permitting only explicitly authorized connections and rigorously blocking all other data requests. The optional virus scanner add-on also removes malware from Web and e-mail traffic.
The genuscreen package establishes high-encryption virtual private networks (VPNs) via public networks, and securely transfers highly sensitive information. The German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has approved the VPN function for the national, NATO and EU classification level Restricted. So German authorities and international organizations can use genuscreen to encrypt and securely transmit classified data via Internet.
In addition, the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) has certified genuscreen to the Common Criteria (CC) level EAL 4+. This is the first level to include a source code audit, and concurrently is the highest level that can reasonably be applied to an entire system as complex as a firewall. The official certificate states: genuscreen is a high-quality security solution, which provides strong resistance even against skillfully attackers.
