GeNUGate: Two-Tier Firewall for Secure Interfaces
The GeNUGate firewall is a multi-tier integrated system: two different firewalls (an application level gateway and a packet filter) run on separate hardware, but are connected in series. Data from the Internet is filtered by each firewall before reaching the LAN. The two-tier evaluation and content analysis by the application level gateway sets GeNUGate apart from many other firewall solutions. The solution has also satisfied the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), which has certified GeNUGate to the Common Criteria (CC) level EAL 4+ and classified it as highly resistant. GeNUGate is the only firewall worldwide to have been given a highly resistant rating. This attests the high quality of the GeNUGate firewall.
GeNUScreen: Firewall & VPN Appliance Approved for RESTRICTED
The firewall & VPN appliance GeNUScreen can take over several tasks: The stateful packet filter checks the data traffic and only accepts explicitly permitted connections – all other requests are consistently denied. Furthermore GeNUScreen establishes encrypted Virtual Private Networks (VPN) for the secure exchange of confidential data on the public Internet. This VPN function is approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for data of the classification level RESTRICTED. In addition the high quality of GeNUScreen is proofed by the certification according to the Common Criteria (CC) level EAL 4+.
Security Gateways for Red-Black Transitions
GeNUA has developed special security gateways for linking variously classified networks of government and military organizations. GeNUCard: Security Device for Mobile Users
The GeNUCard security device is inserted into a laptop computer, protecting all data communication between the mobile user and corporate network. The GeNUCard is equipped with a firewall, VPN gateway, and token function that run independently of the laptop on the card’s own hardware. The VPN function is approved by the German Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) for data of the classification level RESTRICTED. The administration, particularly of many GeNUCards, can be carried out via a Central Management Station. The security platform GeNUBox is multifunctional applicable. This system constructs SSH-coded tunnels for data transmission via the Internet, and also provides an integrated applications platform. This allows the installation of individual applications for remote access control and maintenance of machinery or complex industrial plants. Satellite communication is another application area: the GeNUBox optimizes and encodes the data stream via satellite.
Confidential Communication via Internet with GeNUCrypt
GeNUCrypt enables communication via public networks in complete confidentiality, just like in a private, face-to-face meeting. The solution encrypts data and establishes secure connections - Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) - safely through the public area. This allows data to be exchanged on the Internet in a convenient and reliably protected manner, for example between distributed networks of one company.
GeNUCenter for Central Administration of IT Security
GeNUCenter enables network administrators to keep IT security corporation-wide under control. All IT security solutions by GeNUA – firewall systems and VPN appliances – can be configurated and administrated via the consistent GUI of the Central Management Station.
