Virus scanner
Program for finding and eliminating viruses. Can, for example, be used centrally on a firewall, or locally on a workplace machine. What’s important is that all data are examined before being allowed onto the computer, and that the virus scanner is updated at frequent intervals (2 weeks). In addition to a central virus scanner, it’s advisable to use them decentrally on the workplace machines as well. Have outgoing mail checked by virus scanners too, so that you do not send your business associates macro-viruses or anything similar by mistake.
