Integrity
Non-falsified state of a data stock. Besides availability and confidentiality, integrity ranks among the most important types of security. When security guidelines are being drawn up, it’s often necessary to choose which of these categories shall have priority over the others in cases of doubt. Example: in the event of an attack, is it more important that a WWW server remains available, or that the order data stored there are not falsified?
