ESP (Encapsulating Security Payload)
Protocol, that is used with IPSec and creates an extension between IP header and TCP header of the upper next layer (OSI model). Therefore, additionally to the authentication, the data can be encrypted (encryption). The encryption method is not strict, but DES is mandatorily implemented. Obligatory hash methods are MD5-96 and SHA-96.
